Detective Jaswinder Singh, a Metropolitan Police Officer, has returned to work from gardening leave. His reputation for solving cases in the most unorthodox of manners has made him many enemies within the police. Unfortunately for them his methods always achieve great results with all his cases being solved.
Sarah, a civilian manager at the police station, enlist Jazz's confidential help in finding out what is happening with her husband, Derek, who worked in the Police Protection squad and may be being blackmailed. Although he has few friends in the police force as he is considered a rule breaker and a cocky individual, Jazz does have two colleagues that have remained loyal to him despite all that has happened. He also has an informant Mad Pete, who reluctantly comes across with information when pushed by Jazz. It is revealed that Derek is into S&M and belongs to an exclusive S&M club where the blackmail could be happening. Taking advantage of Derek being away Jazz decides to go undercover in the club to see what he can find out.
This alerts MI6 and it would appear that a large undercover operation was about to take place and Derek was under scrutiny as a potential traitor. Now established in the mess and causing chaos for MI6, Jazz is incorporated into their strategy for the operation but told to keep out of the way. This is never going to happen, and the unorthodox, fearless and some would say stupid, Jazz must now take on MI6, an S&M club and a terrorist group each one of them potentially out to kill him.

Well I was pleasantly surprised by this book! Its my first book by this author and it wasn't left in a cliffhanger but while everything was answered the ending sort of left at a to be continued?! I'm sure hoping it will! I can't wait for more! This book had a bit of everything! It had suspense, intrigue, action packed, murder, mystery, some great police work and some bumbling idiot type of police work that was very funny! The characters were awesome! I truly enjoyed reading this one! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle! It really was a funny but still gritty book! I highly recommend reading this book! Its well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me! Thank you for the intro to a new to me author! Can't wait for more!

Firstly, I would like to thank M C Dutton for an early copy and this one (like the others) did not disappoint. I have read the other 3 books in "The Singhing Detective Series" and was pleasantly surprised when I heard a 4th installment was coming.
It is a very good read full of thrills, deception, danger, anger, romance and friendship. I'm not goint to lie but writing reviews isn't something I would normally do but when I couldn't put this book down because I thought it was so good I thought I would.
It was good to see Jazz & Boomer back on the scene and getting into and up to their usual antics/trouble.
MC Dutton has put together yet another marvellous book that continues from the previous ones and I'm hoping that a 5th installment will come along one day.

Yet again another brilliant book by M C Dutton. Great storyline and I can't wait for the next book to be published. I particularly love a book that you can relate to when you know the streets and areas mentioned. This is a fantastic read, give it a try, M C Dutton won't let you down

Thank you once again to M C Dutton for writing this awesome sequel to the Singhing Detective. This is the 4th book in the series and believe me they just keep getting better and better. I cannot wait for the next book to come out to see what's in store for Jazz in work life and in his personal life.
I feel like I'm grieving now I've finished it. I hope I don't have to wait too long for the next one. I would highly recommend these books to anybody.
